Appium Installation for iOS

Appium Installation on mac also same as window but here we have to install xcode and have to test with iOS devices or simulator.
We can write test for Android mobile by using Appium in mac as well.

Need to Install:

Mac OS X 10.8.5
Appium is more stable on this version of OS, but also works on latest Mac OS X versions like sierra.
Xcode with all simulators
Appium -Latest version
Android SDK with all downloaded android emulators with API 17 and higher
Eclipse /Microsoft visual studio.
Selenium JAR file

Xcode

 You have to download Xcode (latest version) from Apple App Store.
You can download without using devloper account.
After installing Xcode download all its simulators:
1. Open Xcode program
2. Click on “Xcode” button at top left side of the screen then >>Preferences button>>Download all simulators from “Downloads>>Command Line Tools
Note:
Without command line tools you can't run appium.

Android SDK :

Go to Develop => Tools => Download => Download ADT for Mac OS X.
Install the ADT to Application folder. Install all emulators with SDK 17+
Open the ADT folder >>Eclipse Folder>>Open Eclipse.app program>>Click the top bar “Window” button>> click Android SDK Manager” button
