Types of Mobile Apps

• There are different types of mobile apps which we can automate through

     Appium which are listed below

                       1. Native apps

                       2. Mobile web apps

                       3. Hybrid apps

•  Native apps are those written using the iOS or Android SDK’s.These apps use architecture of IOS or Android OS. Those are default applications of mobile phones like contacts,Phone, Message,camera etc.

•  Mobile web apps are web apps accessed using a mobile browser 
Note :
Appium supports Safari on iOS and Chrome or the built-in ‘Browser’ app on Android
Normally web applications with mobile view.

•  Hybrid apps It is a combination of native and mobile web apps.
Like Facebook,Flipkart,Myntra. Buth can access from mobile as well as from desktop/web.
